Χρυσή λίρα του 1823

Απεικονίζει την δαφνοστεφή κεφαλή του βασιλιά Γεωργίου του 4ου στην μπροστινή όψη και τον Άγιο Γεώργιο με το δράκο στην πίσω όψη. 
Ο Γεώργιος Δ΄ ήταν βασιλιάς του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας και της Ιρλανδίας από το 1821 έως το 1830. Ως αντιβασιλέας, πριν την ενθρόνισή του, υπέγραψε το 1814 τη Συνθήκη της Γάνδης, με την οποία τερματίστηκε ο Αγγλοαμερικάνικος Πόλεμος.
Κατά τη βασιλεία του υπογράφει το 1829 η πράξη ανακούφισης των Καθολικών, με την οποία επέτρεπε την εκλογή Καθολικών πολιτών στο Κοινοβούλιο.
