Αυτή η Χρυσή Λίρα Αγγλίας είναι κοπής της χρονιάς 1872. Ιδιαίτερη εντύπωση προκαλεί ο καλαίσθητος σχεδιασμός της και η αρμονία των μορφών της, Πρόκειται για ένα σπάνιο νόμισμα που κάθε συλλέκτης θα ήθελε να έχει στην κατοχή του. Έχουν εκδοθεί 748.180 νομίσματα.
Στην μπροστινή όψη της, απεικονίζει την Νέα Κεφαλή της Βασίλισσας Βικτώρια όπως σχεδιάστηκε από τον William Wyon. 
Η πίσω όψη της λίρας απεικονίζει τον Άγιο Γεώργιο και το δράκο. 
Στο νόμισμα παρουσιάζεται το γράμμα "S" το οποίο συμβολίζει το νομισματοκοπείο του Σίδνεϋ της Αυστραλίας στο οποίο κόπηκε το νόμισμα.
